I love those weather like today's. What a beautiful sunny day it is ! The breeze comes from the ocean smells so sweet and I am lying on the bed and have nothing to do. Right now I made a call to Japan by skype. It's fun to talk to even about meanless matters. Talking about the skype service, it's great and brings me so pleasant time. To Chaing Mai, to Fukuoka ever to Tokyo or visa virsa.
On the beachside road there're many monuments. See, those pics which were on taken the other day. Fun to see while taking a walk. 'Tsuna-hiki', in English 'a tug-of-war' that I enjoyed much at the school sports. It seems to hear kids cheering.

今日は朝から気持ちよく晴れ渡り、どこまでも青い空が広がっている。 海からの風が時折部屋まで吹き込み、あ～、なんと気持ちいいことか・・・。 何もすることもなくベッドに横になって深呼吸をする。 スカイプで日本へ電話をかけた。 別にたいした用事ではなかったが、少し離れていればこんな事が楽しい。 チェンマイへ福岡へ東京へ、まだその逆も、このサービスの恩恵に浸っている。
ビーチサイドロードにはたくさんのモニュメントがある。 これは綱引きの様子を表している。 散歩がてらに幼子の遊ぶ姿を見るのは愉快だ。 運動会で精一杯綱を引いていた頃を思い出した。 はやし立てる子らの声が聞こえてくるようだ。

At the back of the Mike Shopping Mall, there're lots fruits stalls. Would you see the pic? How many fruits are there? Who knows. Some of them I know, but there're still some that I don't know even their name. Therefore while I'm here, I'd like to taste one by one as possible as I can.
Those stalls look like candy ones as they seem so colorful. Well, maybe tomorrow or maybe with in a couple days I'll come and get some just for my amuse.

Early in the morning the rain started, thus I woke up. Actually it was first time to get rain so heavily. Started every morning preparation slowly and still I have no idea. I have been here more 6 days. It is too late to start learning golf. Maybe next time, maybe someother time. I would prefer to do something sportslike than staying at here. Reading is of course I love much but that is not only what I want to to be honest. Anyway the more I get the infom. about here, the more I can find many activities. I would like to postpone all activities what I want to do to the next time.

朝から雨降り、ここへ来て初めてのことだ。 雨音で朝早くに目が覚めた。 直角に降り続ける雨、結局こんな時間までうだうだと過ごしてしまった。 あと６日、ここにいる間にゴルフを習おうと思っていたけれど、何もしないまま今日に至った。 今からでは少々遅い。 次に来た時だな。
どうやら雨がやっと上がったようだ。 お昼を食べにちょっと出かけてみよう。 足代わりのソンテウは気ままに通りに出ればいつでも拾える。 異国生活は通りを歩くだけでもそれなりにおもしろい。 気軽に日本語で話しかけてくる人への警戒心がなくなってきた。 食事の時には必ず清潔を心がけていたが、それすらしなくなってきた。 それだけ日々の生活になれてきたのだろう。 人間とは不思議な生き物で、ある程度慣れてくると何かしたくなるのは習性だろうか、それとも私自身の性格だろうか。 このまま何もしないでは少々退屈でもある。 今日ホテルへ戻ったら最上階のプールへ浸かりに行こう。 絶対に行こう。
・・・と思いつつ、今日は町の北の方へ出かけた。 ソンテウに乗り換えるのもなんて事はない。 １０バーツ（約３０円）握りしめて、降りたいところでブザーを押せばＯＫだ。 ここにいる間にちょっと周辺の町まで遠出をしてみようと、バスセンターへ下見に行ってきた。 バンコクのエカマイから高速バスに乗ってパタヤへやって来た時以来だからほんの１２日前のことだが、なつかしい。
同じ町なのに北部（ナクラ）と中部（パタヤビーチ辺り）と南部（ジョムティエン・ビーチ辺り）では雰囲気が全く違う。 結局ここへ戻ってからプールへは行かずじまい、即シャワーをして汗を流した。 夜になってスイスからやって来たローレンとパタヤの町の様子について盛り上がった。 彼もやはり同じように思っていた。 パタヤビーチ沿いには歓楽街がどこまでも続く。 明るい内から彼女（もしかすると彼ら）たちはドキッ！とするような格好で闊歩する。 見慣れてくればそれもタイならではの風景だと思えてくる。
暇だと思っていたのはほんの一瞬で、それさえも楽しい時間の経過に思えるのは外国に身を置いているせいかもしれない。 ただ本を読んでいるだけ、ただ数読をしているだけ（数読に凝っている）、ただ誰かと話をしているだけなのに、暇な時間は贅沢な時へと変わる。 こうして過ごせる事がどれほど幸せなことかと思う。 健康である幸せも併せて感謝だ。
ローレンに今夜食事をしながらゴルフの話をしたら、早速来週打ちっ放しへ行こうと誘われた。 彼は二日に空けずゴルフを楽しみ、空いている時間はタイ語の独学だ。 タイ語にはついていけないし、彼の好きなゴルフのことはさっぱり判らない。 いいコースがこの近辺にはたくさんあるらしい。 これからゴルフを始めたいと思っていたから、彼の誘いには二つ返事でＯＫをした。
月曜日には早朝７時半から夕方まで釣りに出かける。 夕食前に予約をした。 今度は釣り堀ではなく海釣りだ。 朝食・昼食付き、釣りやシュノーケルをして一日過ごす。 すでに肩は黒光りしている。 きっとさらに真っ黒になってしまうだろう。 南へ度々来るようになって、シミ・そばかすのことはあきらめた。 ここで色白を保とうと思うと何もできない。 顔や体から日焼けの後が引くことはないが、不思議なことに心は次第に透明になっていく。

I went to the Jomtien Beach which is next to the Pattaya Beach today. I took a sonteu from here then I took an another one toward that beach on the way. Since I've been hunging around here, I have catched locality somehow. When you get off the sonteu, only you have to do is just paying 10B. Then you'll become Thai person ferfectly. "How much...?" You've never asked that to a driver, cz a driver maybe overcharge for you. The minim. tranfer fee is 10B, but it'll become 50B or 100B when you'll ask the fee. Of course it is the same distance. On the way back to the beach, I dropped the supermarket which I'vebeen tired about to go a little bit. Then I bought a tofu and one pack of veggy's juice...

パタヤビーチに続くもう一つの美しいビーチ、『ジョムティエン・ビーチ』へ行った。 途中ソンテウを乗り換えた。 これまでパタヤをかなりうろついたので、多少は土地勘が備わってきたようだ。 ドライバーには降りるとき１０バーツ、さりげなく渡せばもういっぱしのタイ人だ。 「いくら？」なんて聞くと、かえって吹っ掛けられる。 運賃は最低が１０バーツ、同じ距離が５０バーツにも１００バーツにもなる。 行き慣れたスーパーマーケット、そろそろ飽きてきた感があるが、今日も寄って野菜ジュースや豆腐を買う。

昼前から出かけて今日はジョムティエンの釣り堀へ行った。 ヒット、ヒット、ヒット！ ７０ｃｍはあっただろうか、魚の名前は判らないがナマズのような・・・！ やっぱり餌は食パンだった。 ただここの餌にはイチゴの香りを付ける。 魚が食いつきやすからだ。 ４回ヒットして獲物は２匹、かなり満足だった。 屋根付きの小屋に丸太のテーブルといすが設えてあった。 素朴な作りの釣り堀にさぁ～っとたまに風が吹く。 曇りだったが少々日焼け、次第に黒くなっていく。

I went to Koh Lan by ship yesterday. That was so-called a small trip or an excursion if you asked. From Pattaya to Koh Lan, it took only 20B(about \60). Wow ! That's cheap and worthy. don't you think so, do you? Anyway Koh Lan has two beautiful beach that's why I'd like to go. But when I arrived the beautifu beach, it was so so beautuful than I thought, there're too many that I could'nt mode to swim in the sea. There're no room that anybody couldn't swim not only me.

The moment I saw the crowded beach, I decided to go back as soon as possible. The boat was started at two then I'd prefer to take a lunch at a reataurant near the harbor. I had ffied rice which was 40B cost.

So, including every expenses that I spent yesterday was 80B. : \240 roughly. Actually I have no idea today. I took a shower and washed the clothes as usual, and I'm going to have breakfast.

I bought the Wacoal product yesterday. That brand brings exactly the same quality of Japan but the price is cheaper than Japanese. It was around 500B, in Yen roughly 1500 yen. Buying something that have somehow high quality in Thai means you'll get the same quality and the price is cheaper. Well actually I bought the sandals wearing at the room today. Suprisingly it costed only 19B. I'm sure you can't believe the price. It's only 60 yen or so on. Now I am wearing that. Ha-ha !

The fising park is familier in Japan, you know. And here in Pattay there're some parks for fishing like you can see in Japan. One of them is close to here. Then I went to there for killing time. That was past 11 then I stayed there 3 in the afternoon. Borrowing the rod cost 40B and a bait was 20B. That was not bad, you know. When the noon came, I ordered the noodles with soup which was typical Thai cuisin. What I enjoyed most was feeling comfortable under the thatched roof small cottage and fishing. Let me explain how much I enjoyed. I took no note of the time. Well I suppose I am good at fishing maybe.

From the fishing park to the shopping mall I took a walk. It was almost 2km. Like a walking excursion, I spent much of joy everyday.

なぜタイでワコール？
タイでワコール製品を買うと、かなりお得感がある。 質は日本と同じで値段は日本の３分の１以下だから、タイへ来るなら衣服類は最低限がよい。 タイブランドのものになれば底値は驚くべきだ。 部屋で履くスリッパ（サンダル）を今日近くのショッピングモールで買ったのだが、たったの１９バーツ、６０～７０円くらいなのだ。 決して粗悪な商品ではない。 履き心地はいい。 これなら飛行機の中で履き替えても、これから先もずっと旅の供にできそうだ。 こだわればかなりいいものが、こだわらなければ格安で生活できるのがなんといってもタイの魅力だろう。

そのショッピングモールの帰りにココナツアイスを食べた。 カップに入れて６８バーツ・・・、あのサンダルがいくつ買えるだろうか。
昨日釣り堀へ出かけた。 パタヤにはいくつか釣り堀があるのだが、その中で最も近い所へ行った。 レストランを併設し、なぜかアヒルが数羽、時々思い出したかのように、「ガァガァ～」と鳴く。 よちよちとそばを通り抜け、釣り堀の中へ入って水浴びをする。 釣りは待っている時間が長く、暇つぶしにアヒル一家を眺めていた。
一竿借りて４０バーツ、餌は２０バーツで食パンだった。 一人付いてくれて餌を付けたり世話を焼く。 朝１１時頃から気が付けば午後３時を回っていた。 結局一匹も釣れなかったけれど、わらぶき屋根の下で時を忘れた気持ちのいい半日だった。

いつの間にか顔なじみになったフロントのスタッフは何も言わないのに戻ると鍵を渡す。 前に止まっていたホテルまで行ってみた。 あのときのスタッフが覚えていてくれた。 人間関係が日にちを追って深まっていくようだ。

Pui is a nice lady who is supposed 34-year-old. I have met her three times since I came here. She took me to a round trip around this city. We're more like a friend but not exactly a friend. But we talked a lot on a car when she drove.
Actually she was born at the southern part of Chaing Mai and graduated at the Cahing Mai University. Therefore her English is so natural same as the native speaker does.
Well it's toward one o'clock. That means my birthday has already passed. But now, I'd like to say thank you friends, thank you my lovers, thank you for everybody sending me a pleasant words to celebrate the birthday. I cannot possibly put my thanks in words.

海岸沿いの道ばたでこんなすてきなモニュメントを見つけました。 何を話しているのかなぁ。 昨日から１時間過ぎたけれど、誕生日に寄せてコメントをいただいた皆さまへ、私の感謝の気持ちはとても言葉では言い表せません。 本当にありがとうございました。
子供の頃のひそひそ話の楽しさを今思い出しています。 あの頃は誕生日だなんて気にもしなかった。 そして年を重ねた今になっても、当時の楽天的なところは相変わらずです。 子供心を大切に、より一層しなやかに、かわいく年を重ねていきたい・・・できるかなぁぁぁぁぁ。

It's so freezing to death in Japan. A larage body of cold air has covered all over Japan. So sorry writing my weblog here in Pattaya. Everyday we have almost the same temparature.

Actually I walked along the sea side road from where I've been staying to the death end of so-called 'The Beach Road'. There were lot who enjoyed reading, jogging, taking a walk like me and swimming in a quiet morning sea.
I stopped then took some pics which described the exactly the waves washed against the bshore. Hope you all share with me and enjoy those pics.

Actually today when I watched the NHK document TV program, there were two professional mountain climber who lost their fingers both hands and legs being frozen at their former clibming five years ago. After five years have passed since they lost the fingers, they climbed the bluff in Greenland. That was thier another try because it's their fun and they eagered to climb up the bluff. One of them said that they did what they could do everything possible. It's very natural to do so. They earn \3000,000 a year. It's somehow difficulties to go to such the world's end under these income, but they smiled and answered the question from the interviewer. "Just we have considered is the moutain, others mean nothing to them." I suppose each life is a gift then why try to live what you want.

寒い今年初の連休に温かい（
暑い！）こちらから、皆さまごめん遊ばせ ＾～＾♪ ブログへあちこちお邪魔すると、想像を絶する雪景色・・・＿ｍ＿ さぶぅ～～～そうな写真を見てびっくり！ 相当強い寒気団が日本をすっぽり覆っているんですね。今朝海岸線を南下して歩きました。 波の音を聞きながら左側はワンウェイでひっきりなしに車が往来しています。 ２キロぐらい歩いたかな。 ジョギングしている人、読書している人、散歩している人、海で泳いでいる人もいました。 思い思いに時間を過ごしています。 それでいいんだとここへ来て一層思うようになりました。 与えられた人生はギフトです。 誰の物でもない自分だけのものです。 変人・奇人といわれようと、陰口をたたかれようと、貴方は貴方の思うように生きていく、それが自分の人生というもの。 ただそれにはそれなりの覚悟とリスクも伴います。
ここにプロの山登りがいます。 彼らは山歩きではありません。 断崖絶壁を登ることが唯一の人生の目的、楽しみです。 ５年前登った山で雪崩に遭い九死に一生を得ました。 凍傷がひどく両手両足の指を切断しました。 それからの彼らは絶望の絶壁にたつのかと思ったらそうではなかったのです。 あきらめきれない『山への思い』、それをあきらめることなくできる範囲のことを続けてきました。 やがてその『範囲』は次第に広がり、ついに昨年グリーンランドの絶壁を登り切ったのです。 年収３００万のほとんどを貯金に回し、遠征費として蓄えました。 簡単ではなかった道のりのはずです。 でもインタビューに答えて、「山以外のことはどうでもいいのです。 山が好きだからそれ以外はかんがえられないから・・・。」と、にこやかに微笑むのでした。 好きなことにはやはりそれ相当のリスクを伴います。 覚悟も必要です。 でも、彼らはしっかりと与えられた人生を生きているには間違いないと、密かにうらやましく思いました。

長旅の友はいつも文藝春秋だ。 直前に本屋へ行ったら、２月号しか置いていない。 店主に尋ねると３月号は９日にならないと入らないと言う。 たぶん今日から並んでいるのだろう。 残念だったが仕方なく２月号を求めた。 芥川賞や直木賞受賞作を読めないが、何でも活字であれば追いかける質だから、まぁいいのだが。。。

半ばに著名人の死を見守った近親者の記事が載っていた。 阿久悠や黒澤明、丹羽文雄や三船敏郎、松田優作や尾崎豊、誰も彼も印象に残る人ばかり。 その中でも杉浦日向子、お江戸のことを語らせたら彼女の右に出る人はいないと思う。 彼女が逝ったのはわずか４６歳の時だった。 ソバに精通し、そのエッセイを読むたびに、あわよくば私も会員になろうかと思っていた時だった。
ガンが発見されてからも執筆活動は続けていた。 ＮＨＫの『きょうの健康』の連載に『きょうの不健康』と銘打って粋な文章を載せていた。－－－人間は病の容れ物。 何かしらの病があるのが当たり前で、それと引き換えに生きている。－－－ 生老病死をまるで春夏秋冬のように受け入れていた江戸人の死生観に彼女自身を重ねていた。

達観した生き方はいずれ誰にも訪れる死を静かに前向きに受け入れる指針をも教えてくれているようだ。 残念な思い出仕方なく手に入れた売れ残りの２月号だったが、決して表には出ない人それぞれの死生観があり、それは多少なりとも驚きの気持ちで読み応えがあった。

These products had just arrived one day before the departure. They are very unique materials that I've ever seen. Adding vinegar following the information and keep they till like preserving fruit with sugar. Somehow like that from what are written on it's bottle. Once they will have finished, they become a healthy drink.
Thanks to Charlie. they made me so so happy and I feel that bonds of our relationship unite the two of us.

I saw yesterday evening a celebration of the New Year's days at the nearest complex shoppingmall.

That was exactly the same festival as in what Nagasaki Pref. yesterday.

Two dragons which were gold and silver scrolled around here and there.

But the performers looked like a professional group that they tended to take a rest several times that I couldn't stand to stay there waiting for their next performance. Thus I don't know what next it was.

Others, I have been enjoying as much as I can like a native Thai.

When I woke up early in the morning as usual yeserday, I heard the sound of exploding firecrackers. At first, I thought what happened?

Then I asked one of the workers at a hotel robby. After I heard that, I laughed to myself,cz I thought it happend to be a terrorism or something about like that. The reply really relieved me.
;)
It was almost 11am, one of my aquaintances who is Thai picked me up and went to the southern Pattaya. We drove around that area, and when it came to the noon, I asked to her, "Where's your preferance restaurant? " So, we went to her preferance restaurant though it was small, and have a lunch together.

As I wrote here sometimes I love 'wanntan-mee' so much, I took that again. The cost was 40B per each though the duck meet sliced on the noodles. Don't you think it worth to eat and pay?

I'm in abroad from monday actually. The weather condition is so beautiful. In every mornig I could get a fresh air from the sea. And turns to the noon,it's getting hotter gradually but still I feel good.

This time I'm staying at a survice apartment with a small kitchen. Thus I can cook anything. Beside there's a super market 'Big C' near here only a couple minutes by walk.

I have been enjoying every minutes. The more I've been here, the more I could be relaxed. From here, I would like to report the atomosphere as possible as I could.

Wow, I forgot to tell you where. I am in Pattaya again. Today I'm going toward the southarea. See you soon.

タイスキはヘルシーで飽きの来ない味なので大好き！です。
白菜も豆腐も、湯葉もエノキや椎茸も・・・日本と同じ食材をたっぷり楽しめます。
ノースリーブで朝はちょっと涼しく、昼から暑く・・・ぐだぐだ過ごしています。

地元ビールはすっごく安いですが、
ハイネケンなどもこの値段。

In the winter season, you shoud have more bitamins than usual. Surely so do I.
Actually there are lots of snow in Tokyo. It is almost the end of winter and at the same time it's the beginning of spring. Cz The bean-trowing festival will be held tonight. That is a ceremony velebrating the coming of spring, you know. I'm willing to do that, thus can't wait till night.

Well anyway, those 'Vaitamins' I've gotten make me happy even their orange color. To be honest, I'm not too big on citrus. If it was citrus juice peel nor candied citrus peel, no matter what I'm not good at that.

『生絹豆子郎』と書いて、なんと読むか。 日本語は難しい。 母国語だが漢字は特に苦手だ。 こうした固有名詞は更にわからない。 『豆子郎』の歴史はこちらで・・・http://www.toushirou.info/ はは～ん、なるほど。 『外郎』とは一線を画しているのだ。 『外郎』という漢字も初めてお目に掛かった時はさっぱり読めなかった。 複雑な日本語を普段はどうにか操っているが、もしこぼれ落ちるほどの文字を全く読めなかったら、どんな思いがするだろうか。
先日ある小冊子を読んでいたら、識字学校のことが載っていた。 これだけ情報があふれる国に住んで、未だ文盲の人がいるという現実に目を疑った。 日本の文盲率は世界的に見て驚異の低さだ。 ほとんどの国民は読み書きができる。 読めない人は一部の『後高齢者』だけだと思っていた。 戦前の日本には小学校さえ満足に行けない人がそこいら中にいた。 貧しかったり女性であれば、学ぶよりも大切な仕事があった。 しかし現代において、３０代、４０・５０歳代に文盲の人がいる。 識字学校があるのは横浜の寿町、寿生活館の４階に簡単な手製の表札を掛けて開かれる。
