と、十字路で、ピョンと曲がった、可笑しかった

小さい一円玉フンや雪の上の足跡は、よく見るが
「本人」には、数回しか、お目にかかったことがない
夜行性で臆病、なはずだが、なかには
好奇心の強いやつがいるんだな
そういえば、サンフランシスコだったか
スーパーで鳥肉を買ったら、ウサギで、味は鳥、だったっけ

No, it must be a hare. It 'turned left on the paved road', which made me giggle.
I often see field signs such as footprints on snow and spraint (droppings) in the woods.
This must be a very curious one. Now I remember I once bought 'chicken' at
a supermarket in USA, which I realized was 'rabbit meat' but tasted just like chicken.

森のモミジの葉を模様にしたり...にぎやかな陶芸体験教室の一日でした。
皿あり、オブジェ鯛あり、マグカップあり、徳利あり........それぞれに工夫した「土のかたち」が生まれましたね。
けさは、アラジンストーブに、カレーを仕込んだ。
月桂樹の葉を、手のひらでモミ砕いたので、香りが残ってる。
きょうはヨーグルトを入れて、ナンを焼こう。

今週は、雪化粧・流れたみたいに、情けない？！

空は、おもいっきり澄んでいて
朝、霜のおりた畑道で、轟音が響いてきて
南西に向かう、白い機体を、ずっと目で追う
飛行機雲がない、のだ

列島の錦秋を、みおろす、って、どんなだろ

The majestic 'snow-capped' Mt.Fuji?
It WAS last week, but withering wind (kogarashi) seems to have blown
the snow. It's like white makeup is running down.
As I walk to the lake, I hear an approaching airplane.
The sky is so clear that jet aircrafts don't make long white lines, or contrails, and I just wonder how they enjoy the 'Tapestry Autumn' stretching below.

夜明けごろ、Oさんが犬のKotaroを連れて、工房にやってきた。
クルミと干しぶどうを入れて焼いたパンをかるくトーストして柚子のマーマレード
柚子を半分に割って、紅茶のポットにいれて..........
その旅人は、河口湖を発つ、のだという。

昼が短い。Eさんが皿をつくりはじめたら、2時半すぎに、山の稜線に、太陽が隠れようとしていた。
私は、「ジーンズの体温」を、つくっていた。
The day is very short here now. The sun was hiding already at 2:30 yesterday afternoon,
when E-san was making a clay plate and I was shaping "Jeans still warm with body heat?".

「すこぶる順調にホワホワと成長しています....」

のだから、なにか、と、思いついたのが、「地球ポテトの芽」（釉薬実験）

アリゾナの赤い砂の釉薬は、砂糖菓子のよう（BLOG 10 Nov.）
ネバダ・サンタモニカ・サンディエゴ........
それに、この村の土釉（黄土色）を加えて、六大陸

"It's growing healthily and steadily" says a postcard from N-san,
who kindly gave me some sands, her precious memory of North America.

I wanted to thank her and then a nice idea just hit me.
I immediately started making this earth potato with six continents,
each of which shows the glaze test result of different raw material.
I didn't forget to add that of my village, which turned yellowish brown.

きのう、Impreza をスタッドレスに履き替えた。タイヤを運んで車に積んだりして、きょうは腕の筋肉が痛い。
Oさんが送ってくれた「銀杏」を、鋏の取っ手のギザギザで、微妙な力で、殻に割れ目をいれ、実を取り出した。
鍋の湯で、お玉の背をこりこり当てて、薄皮を剥いた。もっちり、うまい！
工房の外の水道も、栓を閉め蛇口を開いておいた、が、それほど冷えていない。3:30am -1.5℃

原題から「ふ・し・ぎ」を消してしまう

たいせつにとってあるモノ
---壁を埋めつくす、ビニール袋のモノ
---積み重なった箱に詰められたモノ
が、過去に光をあてていく

キーワードは「シャツが裏返しだよ」 "Inside out" is the key word.

All the "mysteriousness" is gone when the titles of imported films are translated into Japanese. I am very often confused.

The Japanese title is literally "My precious collection."

肉団子：ミンチ+玉子+アガリクス粉末+片栗粉+パン粉+藻塩+胡椒
白菜・太ネギ・春雨・豆腐・舞茸・アスパラ菜・こんがり焼き餅・豆乳粉末
さいごに、大根おろしをふりかけてっ、あつっ、ふー！！

「全粒粉」と「木のひげ」？
教室のEさんにいただいたビスケット
なんか・なつかしかった

ひょっとして、と、本箱をさがした
「国産小麦でパンを焼く」（1987）

そうだったあ、この「ひげさん」の天然酵母
干しぶどう、りんご、さつまいも、でもつくったっけ
ふつふつといいだしたら、ガスを抜き
絞った発酵エキスを、全粒粉で培養して、「パンの種」

この「こね鉢」--こたつでパン生地発酵させたら、バリバリと割れ
そうになった、が、復活したのだった、さすがに一木（いちぼく）

さっき起きてみたら（3:30am）、薪ストーブが消えていた
ほんのわずかに残った「火の種」で、炎をつくった
去年ひょっこり遊びにきた、Kさんが、庭の細枝を小さく組んで
まるで手のひらで火種を育てるように、息をふきかけて火を起こした、っけ
さすがに、セブ島で戦火を生き抜いた人、なのである

This whole wheat biscuit, a gift from Eri-san, reminded me of
a natural yeast starter, an ancient way of making bread rise.
I searched for the old book in the bookshelf. Yes, I followed his way of
making "Pan-no-tane" (literally, seed of bread), or 'starter' 20 years ago.
I am kind of impressed that this bearded person has been keeping company
with wild yeasts for all these years in the same place.

This morning I woke up to find the fire in the woodstove has gone out
and I managed to restart a fire with some hot coals, or "HI-no-tane" (literally, seed of fire) remained.
