以前、アメリカで「Super Size Me」という企画映画がありましたが、これはドクターストップがかかり途中で挫折。そこで日本でやってみようという猛者が登場。それがこの本の著者です。
この本には。マクドナルドだけでなく、
Part.1　「30日間　マクドナルド生活」
Part.2　「30日間　カップ麺生活」
Part.3　「30日間　避難訓練生活」
の３つが入っています。「避難生活」はそれなりに役に立つんではないでしょうか。
この本は、著者のサイトには、他の企画もありますので、興味があれば行ってみてください。
それにしても人間やればできるんだなと思いつつ、やくやるよなこんな企画、しかも個人で・・・・。

Super Size Me in Japan
The original “Super Size Me” in USA was that a doctor stopped. However, this author challenged it. This guy finished eating McDonald’s for 30 days!! It was amazing!
This guy tried other two challenges.
- Eating only cup noodles for 30 days.
- Living with only emergency items for 30 days.
I can’t believe this guy and this challenges without any sponsors.

You Should Live Abroad
Japan would be the hardest country where senior persons live in. You should give up to live in Japan when you become senior. However, can you live abroad really? This book tells how senior persons could live abroad.
This book also tell how to prepare it for middle ages.

副題に「アインシュタインが憧れた人々」とついていますが、アインシュタインのことはほとんどでてきません。内容のほとんどが電磁気学の重鎮マックスウエルのことです。
科学史的な話、数学の話などがごちゃまぜにつづられており非常に読みにくい本でした。オススメしません。

If you imagined the world with math
The sub-title was “People who look longingly at Einstein, but the book did not address him. The almost all contents were Maxwell. This book was so complicated because the story was mixed with the science history and math’s explanations.

阪神地震、中越地震、三宅島噴火とこの１０年間に起きた大きな災害の体験者が語る証言やアドバイス。
さっそく、リュックと靴、薄手のセーター、水などを用意したいと思います。

Some large earthquakes occored in Japan for this 10 years. The expereienced peple gave us some advices.
I want to prepare some emergency items such as day bags, shoes, thin sweaters and water.

子供たちがふたりで七夕の飾りをつくりました。
なにやら、いろいろとお願い事を書いておりました。

Star Festival & Hydrangea
My kids decorated the Star Festival Bamboo, which is an Asian custom to write your wish on a paper and put the paper on the bamboo. They wrote a lot of their wishes.

お昼の後に公園に行くと、紫陽花がきれいに咲いておりました。
でもこの公園には誰もいません。あとで妻に聞くとこの公園は蚊が多くて有名で夏の間は子供が遊ばなくなるそうです。
１時間もしないうちに雨がパラパラと降ってきたので、家に帰りました。

My kids and I went to a park after lunch, and then we saw beautiful hydrangea. However, it’s desert. I heard it from my wife later that the park is famous as the mosquito-infested park. So any parents do not take their kids to the park during summer.
We went back home for less 1 hour because it became rainy. I want the rainy season to end soon.

３年以上使っていたサドルが壊れた。段差でうまく力を抜くことができないでがつんとやったところで、レールがポッキリ。
でも、やっぱり今までと同じselle italiaのSLRを選びました。軽いし、なによりもお尻がなれている。でも１万５千円は高いな・・・。

Saddle was broken!
The saddle had been used for over 3 years. The rail was broken on my morning ride because I could not let my body down well on a bump. I chose the same saddle “Selle Italia SLR” because this saddle is very light and I have felt fit for myself. However it cost 135 USD. I’d be expensive!!

ついでにサドルバックもMサイズのTOPEAKのエアロ ウェッジパックに変更した。以前は通勤用に鍵を入れるためにLサイズを使っていたんだけど、朝トレに変更して
・工具だけ入ればいい
・サドルピラーに固定するベルトが取れてなくなった
・Lサイズは横幅が大きく太ももの裏に当たる
ことなどから小さいサイズに変更したかった。この際だから買い換えた。

あとは、もういらなくなったセンタースタンドも取っ払った。時々シューズやペダルが当たってコチコチと耳障りに思っていた。

I also changed my saddlebag to TOPEAK Aero Wedge Pack Medium size because I put large keys for my commute into my previous large bag but I have not needed any more. The reasons why I chose it were
・It’d be convenient to put only emergency maintenance tools into the bag.
・The previous bag lost a belt for a saddle pillar.
・My thighs touched the bag on pedaling because of the large width.

In addition, I got rid of a center stand. I would not need it any more.
